Energy is a vital resource in Grow A Garden, required for most gardening actions like digging, planting, and watering. Managing your energy efficiently is key to making progress quickly. Your energy bar is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Energy Basics:
- Base energy capacity is 100 units.
- Most actions consume 1-2 energy units.
- Energy regenerates automatically over time.
- You can instantly restore energy by consuming certain food items.
Energy Consumption
- Digging a plot: -1 Energy
- Planting a seed: -1 Energy
- Watering a plot: -1 Energy
- Using a special tool ability: -5 Energy
Energy Regeneration
- Automatic Regen: +1 Energy / 30 seconds
- Sitting on a bench: +1 Energy / 10 seconds
- Eating an Apple: +20 Energy (Instant)
- Drinking Energy Drink: +50 Energy (Instant)
Energy Management Tips
Work in Bursts
Use up your energy bar on important tasks, then take a break. Let it regenerate while you plan your next move or visit the shop. Don't waste time waiting for one energy point at a time.
Upgrade Your Tools
Upgraded tools (like the Golden Shovel) perform more work for the same energy cost. A Golden Shovel digs 9 plots for 1 energy, which is far more efficient than the basic shovel.
Stock Up on Snacks
Always keep a few apples or energy drinks on hand. They are perfect for when you need a quick boost to finish planting a large field or during a timed event.
